A special note from our Lead Hairstylist Elya for Melissa's wedding.

Melissa's wedding was my first solo wedding since joining the SPHMUA team. I couldn't have asked for a better more laid back bride!

On my way to the venue it starting to downpour. Once arrived I was in awe. The Pinecoft Mansion is like something from a fairy tale. The detail in every room is so breathtaking. It was definitely very fitting for Melissa.

Melissa's Style:
Melissa had very long hair. She wanted a braid with a very full low bun. To achieve a full bun we added some clip in extensions and using my texture iron to really pump up the volume.

Getting to know the bride:

Melissa is originally from Australia and first came to the US in exchange program. Melissa and her bridal party was so much fun to work with. One of my favorite parts about weddings is getting to hear where they all met the bride. She had two friends from Australia and two from here. It was so interesting to hear about the different cultures we have. Her flowers girls were cousins from Australia and they couldn't have been any cuter.

Emily and I had the opportunity to be apart of a -- Industrial Spring Inspired Shoot. We always have fun collaborating with our "Frendors" (local vendors) and are so excited for this shoot to be featured on the Ruffle Blog.

Kelsie and Monica's visions was colorful and fun. I loved how they asked for a simple loose bun with bright flowers. I am mean who doesn't love pops of color? The flowers, couple, cake, location, and look was seriously some MAJOR Wedding Goals!

Everyone worked so hard to achieve their vision and their hard work paid off. Check out this stunning styled shoot below.
